Kuya & Me

two years after my kuya left for the states, he went back here in the philippines with his wife, ate mae. everybody was excited for their arrival but i think the most excited ones were kuya and ate mae because the reason of their trip back is to have a church wedding. after months of preparation lead by our ate timie, the big day is finally coming. they arrived 4 days before the wedding date and things were pretty much under control. not much has changed with my kuya, he packed on the extra pounds and when they arrived, you can pretty much sense that they are tired. i guess i missed him but i was not able to say that to him, hiya kasi ako eh… but most importantly, i saw our mom shined with her smiles. you could visibly see that she was happy to see kuya once again.

and last december 30, the big day has finally arrived! i, of course, should look good (being the best man obviously) but not outshining the groom of course. the mass went smoothly and i could see that both parties were happy. the reception was simple yet elegant and was hosted by ting. all throughout the night, all you could see were smiles and happy faces. the food was great, the band played relaxing songs and most importantly the newlyweds were having the time of their life.

i just wish my best for them to have a prosperous and happy life now and for the days to come. congrats kuya and ate mae!
